Your Relationship Journey

A workbook to explore where you have been, where you are now, and where you are growing together.

Unconscious Stages
Stage 1

The Honeymoon

Chemistry-driven, fuelled by attraction and familiarity. It can feel magical but lacks deep knowledge or conscious intention.

Reflect

What initially drew you to each other?
Are there idealised beliefs you now see differently?
Stage 2

🤝 The Commitment

Often emerges 6–18 months in. A shift from passion to partnership. Can bring up expectations and early disappointments.

Reflect

What expectations did you bring into the relationship?
How do you each define commitment?
Stage 3

The Power Struggle

Marked by conflict, unmet needs, and differentiation. Often triggered by deeper attachment wounds.

Reflect

What patterns tend to repeat during conflict?
What might your partner be protecting when they react?
The Turning Point
Stage 4

🔻 Despair / Exit

Turning away from the relationship through distractions (work, parenting), disconnection, or separation.
Are there “exits” that show up for you?
Stage 4

🌿 Recommitment / Hope

Choosing to stay and rebuild with new agreements, shared responsibility, and an openness to change.
What would recommitting mean for you?
Conscious Stages
Stage 5

🔧 The Work

True psychological and relational growth. Consistent effort, emotional safety, and honest self-reflection. Old patterns may resurface as you rewire.

Reflect

What relational habits are you actively working on?
What does intentional love look like to you?
Stage 6

🌅 The Awakening

Co-regulation, emotional integration, and ease. A felt sense of flow where both partners connect past experiences with present understanding.

Reflect

What feels different now compared to early stages?
How do you manage emotions together and individually?
Stage 7

💜 Mature Love

Love is integrated, secure, and evolving. Conflict is navigated with calm, gratitude is expressed freely, and the relationship becomes a space for ongoing learning.

Reflect

What does gratitude look like in your relationship?
What legacy are you building together?

Your path, your pace

Every relationship follows its own journey. There is no skipping stages, but there is always the possibility of growth. Wherever you are right now is exactly where your journey continues.
